What is the process like?
Understanding why certain experiences affect us, why patterns recur, or why change feels difficult is not always straightforward. Behavioral therapy explores these questions in the context of your life history, circumstances, and relationships.
My approach is collaborative: rather than offering ready-made answers, we work together to develop an understanding of what you are going through and consider possible ways forward.
Common areas of concern
- Anxiety and emotional difficulties
- Depression and mood concerns
- Relationships and sexuality
- Life transitions and important decisions
Session format
Online therapy for adults and adolescents in English or Portuguese.
Individual sessions last approximately 50 minutes. Frequency and practical arrangements are discussed individually.
What informs my practice?
My work is grounded in Behavior Analysis and informed by additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Approaches and strategies are considered according to the needs and context of each person.
Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?
No. Understanding what is bringing you to therapy can itself be part of the initial conversation and first sessions.
How do I get started?
Send a short message and we can arrange an initial conversation to discuss practical questions and determine whether my services are appropriate for your needs.
